We’re always asked why we meet on Saturdays at 4pm, and the reasons are simple.
We have no “theological reason” as to why. We meet on Saturdays, because if we see Sunday as a day of rest, of hanging with your family, why spend all day in church? Why try to get the kids up, washed, dressed, and out the door to be in church at 10am? Besides, sleeping in on the weekend is fun.
We’ve found meeting Saturdays at 4pm gives us time to do some things we need to do in the morning – running to Home Depot to get the washer we need to fix the toilet, or get those new shoes because the kid is growing so fast and just blew-out the last pair. We’re able to enjoy a morning, head over to PIVOT and be home for dinner – Life is good.
